My Story

My journey began in open source software communities, where I helped build collaborative platforms at XWiki and eXo Platform. These early experiences with Ludovic and Benjamin taught me the power of open source development and the benefits of transparent, accessible technology.

In 2016, I co-founded Newlogic, a software consultancy headquartered in Singapore with offices throughout Southeast Asia. As CTO, I established our expertise in digital identity, biometrics, and humanitarian technology, focusing on developing innovative open-source solutions for digital identity and social protection systems.

My work at Newlogic revealed that while technology can address fundamental challenges, many organizations lack the capacity to build and maintain comprehensive solutions. This insight led us to develop ID PASS (a digital identity solution based on Verifiable Credentials), collaborate with MOSIP and Inji, contribute to OpenG2P, and ultimately launch OpenSPP. As Executive Director of OpenSPP, I now lead the development of an open-source social protection platform being implemented across multiple countries.

Today, I specialize in Digital Public Goods and Digital Public Infrastructure—open-source systems that empower governments with greater control and flexibility. Working alongside governments, international organizations, and NGOs, I implement digital public goods tailored to specific contexts and needs, combining technical expertise with a deep understanding of policy landscapes and social impact considerations.

"I believe that technology has the potential to transform how governments deliver services, but only when it's designed with inclusion, flexibility, and local ownership at its core."
